The industrial revolution allowed, from the 19th century on ward, the emergence and consolidation of human and social sciences in order to scientifically legitimize the nearly–divine superiority of the White Man along with his cultural practices due to the productions of Euro-American scientific authorities. The denial of this facts a political, ideological, academic, and theological culture to legitimize the godly and sacred exceptionality of the white Man. Our aim is to analyse some important events of some political parties in Brazil and worldwide, showing how Blacks, Mixed-bloods, Indians, and a few re-humanized white men used the refusal of the denial of sciences their pillars of political, academic, cultural, and spiritual weapon to fight in the name of humanity, humanism, and democracy for all. That’s the reason why our analysis will lay emphasis on the consequences of Nelson Mandela’s post-apartheid regime up on ethnicized democracies; the negative effects of institutionalizing the culture of denial by the Brazilian state; and finally: how that same state has been the main and first responsible of ignoring the black Brazilian.

At the time of the french hispanism establishment (end of 19th century, beginning of 20th century), two branches with different conceptions on the issues and the way of spreading their works exist in France, but the question of translation prove to be crucial for everyone. Lots of Spanish-French translations were made during this era, like Marcel Bataillon who translated En torno al Casticismo of Miguel de Unamuno. These translations allow us to see the complexity of the process, and the importance of translation as a tool of sharing knowledge between two frontier countries (it is the case of our study). But translation can also be studied as a filter or adaptation where subjectivity has its place when compared to the original version.
