      <link>https://interfas.univ-tlse2.fr/slavicaoccitania/1321</link>
The importance of proverbs as « documents of civilisation » is a well-known practice among historians. In Russia, this practice has been completed as soon as 1830 by the paremiologist Ivan Snegirev, who presents a panorama of mentalities and institutions in a book in which the ideological discourse relies upon an exceptional historical and philological scholarship. He was nevertheless been preceded by Nikolaj Karamzin for whom, in his History of Russian State, the proverbs and consequently the language become the special witness of the time and a way to revive the historical events which led to the “historical proverbs” as called in the 19th century. Trad. <title>Proverbe et franc-maçonnerie.
      <link>https://interfas.univ-tlse2.fr/slavicaoccitania/931</link>
Dedicated to the study The Russian proverbs (1782) attributed to Nikolaj Novikov, the article analyzes the masonic dimension in one of these stories and also, more broadly, the innovative Novikov's approach. Novikov indeed rejected the usual exegesis of proverbs, specific to Western paremiographic tradition, but considered this unit in close link with the speech in order to observe the rich and various discourse values. The innovative Novikov's approach of Proverbs is based on the Quest of the Lost Word (Verbum Dimissum). </description>
