      <link>http://interfas.univ-tlse2.fr/reflexos/611</link>
In two eulogistic prologues (loas) published at the end of the eighteenth century, the trajectories of theatrical art, on the one hand, and Luso-Spanish diplomatic relations, on the other, intersect. These works reveal how theatrical representation consists in a formal progression of voices and bodies, in presence and/or absence, through a stimulating interplay between what is revealed and what is concealed. The stage also serves political purposes, linked to an aspired external influence, unveiling a dramatic action permeated with meanings particularly suited to diplomatic negotiation. </description>
