Resultado da compilação de um arquivista, esta homenagem a uma forma de arte marginalizada pela história ocidental permite ao administrador da Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève fazer uma digressão mundial de competências e estética indígena, ao mesmo tempo que revela um sistema de valores que é ao mesmo tempo pioneiro e comovente, indo contra a essência do seu tempo.
