This article analyzes the intermedial treatment of the memory of the exile of the Spanish Republicans and the anti-fascist movement in the graphic novel Los surcos del azar by Paco Roca. We will study the way Paco Roca draws historical sources and testimonies to construct his story by integrating other media. We will analyze the intermedial processes which create an illusion of historical verisimilitude, and the construction of the meta dimension which questions the process of reconstruction of memory.

Simon Roy’s Ma vie rouge Kubrick is a fragmented and hybrid narrative, between film essay and auto-fiction. In making the Kubrick film a model that fascinates and haunts him, Simon Roy’s narrator composes a “mirrored” life, establishing a troubled relationship with the model he imitates and comments on. The implementation of an intermedial "creative secondarity" is precisely what interests us in Simon Roy’s narrative. The creative tension that develops between the imitation of the film model and the literary invention of the self oscillates between repetition and invention, disturbing, at the same time, the border between family relationship and aesthetic filiation.

In 1919, Philippe Soupault published in the Dada review Littérature his first "billet-poème". The poet used A dog's life, a Charlie Chaplin's film as a support of its own poetry production. It is a Dada provocation through which the poetry tried to demystify Chaplin as the greatest filmmaker. However, this "billet-poème" remained narrative. Therefore, it must be compared to the poem with "ciné-roman". After the First World War, the limit between the film review and the summary film was very small or even, tenuous. We can read his poem like a film critic through which Philippe Soupault wrote a very short biography of Charlie Chaplin.
