<title>Human and Animal Olfaction in Livestock Farming Practices</title>
      <link>http://interfas.univ-tlse2.fr/odore/261</link>
<description>This sociological study examines the importance of olfaction in livestock farming as perceived by farmers. The objective is to understand how farmers use both their own sense of smell and that of their animals in their day-to-day work. It explores how olfactory perception is integrated into four broad categories of livestock farming activities. The study also investigates how these experiential and practice-based forms of knowledge interact with the technical and academic knowledge that guides agricultural practices. More broadly, this research contributes to ongoing reflection on the role of sensory processes in the formation and functioning of human–animal relationships. </description>
