      <link>http://interfas.univ-tlse2.fr/nacelles/1486</link>
Airbus became a successful company between its creation as a European Joint-Venture (GIE) in 1970 and the decision to launch the A320 in 1984, despite the economic crisis and the commercial failure of many European ventures in aeronautics. The company became a model for all the promoters of a European industrial policy, notably for the French, but the dialogue with Germany and with the European Commission was difficult. Hence, Airbus has remained an exception. </description>
