      <link>http://interfas.univ-tlse2.fr/lineaeditoriale/674</link>
Proserpine is a « tragédie en musique » of Lully (LWV58-1680) that influences the cantatas with the same name of Bernier (1703) and Stück (1708). Since a century, text’s imitation is the foundation of French opera that Lully appropriates himself again. Nevertheless the successive Italian influences play of the divertissement in order to change the rapport between music and text. If the tragic – already softened compared to Ovide – appears first in Lully and Quinault, the dramatization of the music reduced the text to a mere pretext in the cantata. </description>
