      <link>http://interfas.univ-tlse2.fr/lineaeditoriale/2891</link>
This article analyses university theatre as a space for the transmission and reworking of Italianità within the French university context. Drawing on the experience of La Mascareta workshop at Sorbonne Université, it examines the role of the teacher-director in the selection of Italian dramatic repertoire, from the Renaissance to contemporary writing, and its pedagogical, cultural, and political implications. The concept of juvenilization of early texts is developed as a process of scenic reactivation grounded in translation, body and voice, and attention to effects on the audience, positioning university theatre as a site of experimentation and political commitment. </description>
