À travers une réflexion à la fois littéraire et traductologique, nous tentons de comprendre les mécanismes sous-jacents à ce phénomène. Nous nous basons tout spécialement sur le cas d’écrivains qui se sont traduits mutuellement dans le but d’expliciter les choix et les positions prises lors de ce dialogue traductif hors commun ; ainsi que les répercussions directes d’une telle osmose sur l’œuvre qui en résulte. Cette réciprocité de l’acte traductif et ce curieux va-et-vient - entre les deux facettes complémentaires de l’acte de création (Écrire et traduire) nous amènent à nous interroger sur le statut du traducteur et à repenser quelques notions - relatives à la pratique traductive - à la lumière de la théorie sur l’invisibilité du traducteur de Lawrence Venuti. The present paper examines the case of Authors-translators in a literary francophone context. The study is especially focused on the case of Authors who have translated each other in order to explain the choices and positions taken during this extraordinary translational dialogue; and to highlight the direct impact of such an osmosis on the target text. This reciprocity of the translating act and this curious and endless back and forths between the two facets of the creation (Write and translate) lead us to revisit the status of the translator as well as his relationship with both the original text and its author. This case study is endeavouring to understand the mechanisms of this phenomenon as well as its direct repercussions on the translated text with reference to Lawrence Venuti’s theory on the translator’s invisibility. mer., 04 déc. 2019 00:13:20 +0100 http://interfas.univ-tlse2.fr/lamaindethot/751 http://interfas.univ-tlse2.fr/lamaindethot/768 mar., 10 déc. 2019 11:02:07 +0100 http://interfas.univ-tlse2.fr/lamaindethot/768 http://interfas.univ-tlse2.fr/lamaindethot/770 Dans la plupart des pays francophones d’Afrique subsaharienne, la loi fondamentale accorde au français le statut de langue officielle unique, utilisée comme langue des institutionset de l’enseignement formel. Pourtant, ce statut n’en fait pas pour autant la langue majoritaire, tant le français subit de plus en plus l’offensive des langues nationales dans des espaces qui lui étaient exclusifs. Mais cette cohabitation linguistique nefonctionne pas souvent à l’avantage de la grande majorité des citoyens, en particulier lorsque leurs propres langues ne permettent pas de bénéficier des divers services publics garants de leur intégration au sein de leur propre société. Cette étude, menéedans les villes de Dakar et de Saint-Louis, se propose de porter un regard critique sur l’interprétation dans les cours et tribunaux au Sénégal. Elle s’attache ainsi à analyser les différents défis que pose la gestion du multilinguisme aux fins de faciliter l’exercice du droit fondamental à la justice aux nombreux justiciables sénégalais ne parlant pas la langue du droit sénégalais. In most francophone countries of sub-Saharan Africa, the Constitution grants French the status of a single official language,used as the language of institutions and formal education. However, this status does not make it the majority language, as French is increasingly under the offensive of national languages ​​in spaces where it was exclusively used. But this linguistic cohabitation does not often work to the advantage of the vast majority of citizens, especially when their own languages ​​do not allow them to benefit from the various public services guaranteeing their integration into their own society. This study, conductedin the cities of Dakar and Saint-Louis, intends to take a critical look at interpretation in civil courts in Senegal.
