<title>Les Niguedouilles au pays des bimbelots. Traduire Pinocchio pour la scène</title>
      <link>http://interfas.univ-tlse2.fr/lamaindethot/596</link>
This article presents the seeds, evolutions and fruits of a collective translation workshop that took place in 2014 at the Écolenormalesupérieure of Paris. This experience, which started as a pedagogical approach to collective translation, particularly that of plays, led to a complete (soon-to-be published) translation of the play Pinocchio by Carmelo Bene, based on the novel by Carlo Collodi, and a staging of this translation. The work was « collective » in a multiplicity of meanings, as it involved translating the reelaboration by a playwright of a previous novel, translating as a team, but also bringing the product of this work to the stage. The pedagogical purposes of this experiment – to develop the students’ translating abilities, with a focus on the idiosyncrasies of translating (and in truth writing) for the stage, to test diverse ways of working together – brought to light the reciprocal effects translating and staging had on one another. </description>
