      <link>http://interfas.univ-tlse2.fr/lamaindethot/1318</link>
<description>In this paper, we focus on the work of Stefan Gross, German translator and expert on Nobel Prize-winning Belgian author (1911), Maurice Maeterlinck (1862-1949). Why did Gross retranslate the symbolist author's “first period” when Maeterlinck was so satisfied with the work of his official German-speaking translator, Friedrich von Oppeln-Bronikowski? How did Gross’ background, both personal and academic influence his work? We had the opportunity to ask Stefan Gross directly, as he welcomed us to his home in Aachen, a town located in the so-called Dreiländereck he cherishes. </description>
