Abstracts
Le présent article tente d’apporter un nouvel éclairage au problème du gérondif russe, à savoir la coexistence, à l’intérieur de cette forme, des traits verbaux et adverbiaux. Analysant les aspects sémantique, syntaxique et pragmatique, l’auteur défend le point de vue selon lequel le gérondif s’est bien distancié du verbe et doit, à cet égard, être considéré comme une partie du discours à part et non comme une forme du verbe.
This article proposes a new approach to the fundamental problem of gerund in the Russian language: coexistence of the verbal and adverbial characteristics; the semantic values and syntactical functions of this part of speech. The two hypotheses are suggested: 1) The gerund has its own semantic meaning, different from the meanings of the verb and the adverb; consequently the gerund is to be considered as an autonomous part of speech; 2) The concrete meaning of the gerund in speech depends not only upon the linguistic information (which is very often scanty in most cases), but also upon the pragmatic factors.
Зададимся вопросом, с какой частью речи, наречием или деепричастием, мы имеем дело в выражении : работать спустя рукава ? Традиционные грамматики указывают, что это деепричастие, перешедшее в наречие. Но всегда ли мы интерпретируем выражение работать спустя рукава как наречное : работать с ленцой ? Что мешает нам понять эту фразу буквально : спустить рукава и работать ? В настоящей статье предлагается новый взгляд на коренные проблемы деепричастия : совмещение глагольных и наречных признаков, семантика и синтаксические функции данной формы. Выдвигаются две гипотезы : 1) Деепричастие имеет своё собственное семантическое значение, не повторяющее значения глагола или наречия, и должно рассматриваться как самостоятельная часть речи, отдельная от глагола; 2) Конкретное значения деепричастия в высказывании зависит не только от лингвистической информации, которая в большинстве случаев является недостаточной, но и от прагматических факторов.
