Abstracts
L’auteur présente une série d’expériences menées auprès d’étudiants de troisième cycle en Russie et en Suisse. Ces expériences permettent d’analyser les ethnonymes Roumain et Moldave. Ce qui aboutit à une discussion sur la notion de connotation de même que sur divers problèmes qui, en linguistique, lui sont liés.
The article presents the results of experiments which have been carried out among the Russian- and French speaking students and post-graduate students in Russia and in Switzerland. During these experiments, the connotations of ethnonyms Romanian and Moldavian were analyzed. The notion of connotation is also discussed in the article, as well as its different definitions and various problems which appear in linguistic works dealing with connotations.
